WindowsError: exception: access violation writing 0x0000000000040000

Hi, 

I have a Python routine that access AutoCAD (via COMTYPES) and used to work fine in Windows 7 + AutoCAD now in a new computer I have WIndows 8 and the same routine doesn´t work.

I installed AutoCAD 2013 and then Python (2.7.3) and added some site-packges (comtypes and pyautocad).

When I start my routine Autocad prompt for user entry and after input value the error below appears


This error: WindowsError: exception: access violation writing 0x0000000000040000

Any hint why is this happening?

There is any orietation how to install softwares or any privileges set up?

Thanks for reply.

Yesterday I remove Python 64 bits version and install the 32 bits. Now my routines are working.

I found this solution in web and is related with Windows 7 too.
