Hey guys , I've problem with my Vaio personal computer E series . I cant download antivirus  when I tried to download antivirus an errors pops up stating c:\users\username\Downloads is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable .  Actually I don't know how to use windows 8 . So I hope your team can help me settle down my problem . Please help me !!

Hi Zakira,

 

The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable error message can occur for one or more of the following reasons:

•The folder ownership may have changed.

•You do not have the proper permissions.

•The file may be encrypted.

 

1. Which browser are you using to download the Anitivirus?

2. Are you able to manually access downloads folder?

 

I would suggest you to try the steps  in the article and check if it helps.
