Aol mail does not sync properly on Mail app.

My aol mail does not sync properly.  I do have my settings on "download emails as they arrive" and I've rebooted my computer multiple times but the last incoming email to my aol account was Thursday.  On my phone I have 14 emails since Thursday.  What am I doing wrong?

I too am having issues with AOL email accounts on my Surface Pro. The email will work for a day or two and then will say "*** Email address is removed for privacy *** is unavailable" when I try to force a sync. But I can go to http://mail.aol.com, sign in and see all of my email on the Surface via the webpage. If I remove the accounts, add them back in, they work for somewhere between 4 hours and 2 days, then stop again. So frustrating! I'm about to ditch the Surface and just go buy an iPad unless I can get this resolved.

Updated the app. Followed the steps outlined in the article. 

Issue is only confined to AOL email addresses. Outlook.com and Gmail addresses work just fine without issue.

Talked to AOL support the other day, they said it was a MS issue. Just for fun, we took the Surface device to a MS store today. The tech at the store was nice, but his only resolution was to remove the accounts, re-add them, and then tell me they are working. He didn't believe me that they stop syncing after a period of time. As of 2 hours ago, it stopped syncing again.

I still can't find any resolution to this issue.
