Windows Live Essentials Install error code: 0x80004004

Problem Description: I have windows 7 ultimate, I am having a hard time installing the windows live essentials, I keep getting an an error code  0x80004004  I am trying to upgrade it. I ran the revo uninstaller package which emptied out the old windows essentials and deleted everything, know it gets too 100% done and then says undoing, and gives me an error code 0x80004004 any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which type of installer are you using? Is it the 1 MB web installer or the full downloaded package 137 MBs?

If you are using the web installer, try downloading the entire suite and run setup as Administrator.

Go to http://download.live.com

Click Download

Can Download when prompted to download the 1 MB Web Installer

Click Try again, the option to download the 137 MB installer will be displayed.

Right click the setup file and click Run as Administrator

Temporarily disable your Antivirus utility.

Run the Windows Installer Clean Utility:

Also clear out your temp files directory

Click Start, type: %temp%

Delete the contents of that directory and try installing again.
