Solving setup errors by using the SubInACL tool to repair file and registry permissions I tried this solution to my problem of failed instals of video card drivers and programs
Trying the SubInAcl I get 100,000 + errors, I thought it was 40,000 but there were a few fields and all had alot of errors.
I never had problems like this with Xp for Vista.
W7 seems to keep loosing file permissions over and over.
Its a known problem just Google it.
I tried this solution.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2006/09/04/739820.aspx
I tired numerous repair instals, manually resetting files for days on end.
It just reoccurs over and over.
The problem starts usually when Im trying to reinstall video card drivers then the whole systems gets messed up.
Nvidia drivers
W7 64 bit all updates.
Licensed and downloaded a few times (to see if thats the problem) from MS servers.

Hi,
Welcome to Microsoft Community!
You are unable to install video drivers and programs.
To assist you better, we need more information.
What exactly happens when you try to install the drivers and programs?
To work with the issue with permissions, you may try to disable the antivirus software and check if the issue persists.
Refer to the site:
Disable antivirus software
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software
Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

The SubInACL fix works for a little while even though there is 100,000 plus errors. I can instal after that but it will and does break over and over.
I have had three different AV and the same problem arises with all them completely disabled.
I have scanned this rig with over 8 different engines nothing comes up.
I only have one AV installed at a time.
Like I said I never had this problem with Vista or XP.
W7 is a broken child can I have a real fix please.

Have you been using any form of Registry Cleaner?
If you have, That's almost certainly the cause of your problem - uninstall any such, then do a repair install, and reinstall the drivers.
