Problem installing the Calibre ebook management program on my laptop (Windows 7)

I am trying to download Calibre to my laptop (Windows 7) and I keep getting the following error message. I've tried downloading from various places but get the same message each time:

An error occurred during the installation of assembly ‘Microsoft.VC90.CRT, Version=”9.0.21022.8”,publicKeyToken=”1fc8b3b9a1e1 8e3b”,processorArchitecture=”x86”,type=”win32”. Please refer to Help and Support for more information.

·Do you receive any error code with the error message?

 

You may try the steps listed in the below link: Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.ATL,version:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970652
