Flight Simulator X claims there is no directx 9 after installing on Windows 7

I just installed Flight Simulator X on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Although the installer said it installed DX9, when I went to run FSX, I got an immediate error message saying DX9 was not installed.  I tried installing the latest DX9 redistributabl package, but to no avail,  Flight Simulator X still complains there is no DX9.

Any ideas?

Answer
Use DirectX Websetup and Install it. Websetup will download and install required Dx files only. I got the same problem while playing games and it worked perfect.
