Also, because of recent blue screen errors being reported with Avast such as here and your previous thread here try uninstalling Avast and see if it helps any.

Consider alternative security software such as Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hi,

There are many reasons why your system may crash due to a STOP error. This has many possible causes, but the most common scenarios are: Faulty drivers, Hardware issue (especially RAM) or Anti-virus software problem.

Method 1:

Run Memory Diagnostics test to check for any memory problems. Refer the below mentioned link for the same.

Method 2:

Check to see if the issue occurs in safe mode. To do so, follow these steps.

Start your computer in safe mode

Step 2:

Perform a clean boot

If the issue doesn't occur in safe mode, restart the computer in normal mode and follow the article to find the cause of the problem.

Note: Make sure you put the computer back to Normal Startup once you are done.

Method 3:

Unplug all the external devices connected to your system (except the Keyboard and mouse) and check if it helps.

Update the chipset, video card, display and network adapter drivers to the latest by visiting the computer manufacturer’s website.
