Hello Support Team,I’m using a desktop PC running Windows 11 Pro, and I’m trying to adjust the brightness of my external monitor. Most support articles seem to focus on laptops with built-in displays, but I’m on a desktop setup with a regular monitor connected via HDMI.Here’s with what I’m dealing:There’s no brightness slider at all under Settings > System > Display.I can adjust brightness manually using the monitor’s physical OSD buttons, but I’d prefer something easier and faster.I’ve seen mentions of things like adaptive brightness or content-based brightness changes, but I’m not sure

Good Day! After recently completing the update to Windows 11 Home Edition version 24H2 26100.2894, I found that I am unable to normally open the Windows Update settings page and the Advanced Windows Update options page. I have already tried the following:· Clicking the Windows Update button in the top-right corner of the Windows settings page yields no response or interactive feedback. Below the button, the text "Attention Needed" can be seen. · Similarly, when I enter "Windows Update settings and Advanced Windows Update options" in the search bar, it either redirects me to the homepage or s

Hello, so yesterday I put my laptop (Windows 11) to hibernate and today I turned it on. It first displayed an error that said something about not being able to sign in. I searched the web a bit and it might have been this error, but I'm not sure honestly. I just clicked OK and signed in normally and it took a couple of minutes to sign in (Preparing Windows). Once inside, I noticed my desktop and my theme was the default one, the taskbar too. I checked the archives and there is nothing inside the Downloads, Documents, Gallery, One Drive, Music, and Videos folders. The local disk seems to be alri

Recently Microsoft has partnered with manufacturers to add new chatbot keys in place of the old commonly used menu/ right control key.I've been getting more and more calls from customers of new laptops complaining about this chatbot key and wanting it turned off. This has lead to one ripping the key off, three returning their laptops, and two downloading possibly dangerous third party programs to remap this key.It appears there is no settings in Windows to make this key usable for anything the customer actually wants it for. It's just begging to be accidentally tapped so the user can get adver

This is definitely related to the account. I have a machine where I have two Microsoft accounts defined. One one of them OneDrive sync works as normal. On the other Microsoft account, only link files are created for files. On both accounts the OneDrive web access works the same. The system is Windows 11. Having just the links is useless for my application, since the programs I use cannot figure out what to do with them. This was reported months ago and seems to be spreading to other accounts (probably based on the server side software being changed).

Hello,Last night updated my Windows 11 to 24H2 - 26100.2454. Since then everytime when I turn off my pc or do a reboot in Event Viewer I got this error:OneCore-DeviceAssociationService ID 3503The Device Association Service dedected an error discovering endpoints.Event DataAbortingProtocolProvider Internal DAS errorClientProcessName c:/Windows/System32/svchost.exeClientPid 9664InternalError 3Never had this error before. I've seen few other reports from people that they got that too. Wondering is this something serious? Should I worry? Does Microsoft know about it? Is this going to be fixed?

Hi, I've been getting a BSOD. Code: Critical process died. I've tried resetting my PC and all other troubleshooting like CMD commands. I just reinstall the latest NVIDIA GPU drivers & my chipset drivers. I also look and reseated all the hardware connections (RAM, GPU, PSU cables) but still, the issue persists. I looked into the windows file explorer if there's any dump file... But there's nothing in there. I'm getting a Kernel-Power Event ID 41 on event viewer.Event Data:BugcheckCode 239 BugcheckParameter1 0xffffaa0e0317b140 BugcheckParameter2 0x0 BugcheckParameter3 0x0 Bugchec
