Hi,
Which antivirus software are you using?
Method 1: Since the antivirus software which notified you about this, could be a virus.
Create a restore point, before you delete the file and then delete the file.
If something goes wrong, you may revert the changes.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to perform a full system scan just to be safe.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.
