When I initially bootup, I get a dialog box appear.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on this computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.
This is a new one to me! anyone have an explanation please.
I use McAfee security and (supplied by my bank Rapport secuity s/ware)

Thank you for your reply to my question.
My Problem indicating JIT debugging showed on my desktop on Monday and Tuesday mornings this week when initially booting up.
I see in your 2nd paragraph you mention identifying a possible third party application or start up items.
Thinking about this! I have Dell datasafe backup online? and I subscribe to Dell to back up my files every 7 days.
There is on my toolbar an icon for this and when backup begins this icon rotates to warns me not to switch off my PC.
It is programmed to backup late every Sunday night, I am wondering if maybe I shut down my PC not noticing backup was in progress, thus interupting the programme.
I looked at the backup log of events and I saw that this programme finally completed backing up Tuesday @ 1.55pm.
Since then I have not seen this error? message again when booting up.
I am hoping I am right, assuming that I have correctly interpreted your meaning about third party applications and start up items, without the need to try more complicated remedies!!
