Microphone problems on Windows 7 RC

Currently I have Windows 7 RC 7100 build on both my desktop and my laptop. The headset i'm using is a Logitech USB 250. The speakers work on it, and the microphone reports to be working properly but doesn't pick up the sound, on either computers. I've tried re-installing drivers, checking sound, and all that other fun stuff but I can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?

Hello Lynsix,

Thank you for using Microsoft Answers forum.  Click on Start (Orb) à Control Panelà Sounds à Manage audio devices.  Select your USB device and select propertiers à Levels.  Make sure the microphone is at 100%
