Answer

Hi Lori KF,

Welcome to Microsoft answers forums!

Looks like Picture It! Premium 10 is not compatible with windows 7, for more information check the windows 7 compatibility link.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=Picture%20It%21%20Premium%2010

Windows 7 Compatibility Center

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

You can still install Picture It! Premium 10 on windows 7 in a compatibility mode.

Run the Program Compatibility Wizard

1.    Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Use an older program with this version of Windows.

2.    Follow the instructions in the wizard.

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

I must have missed something.  when I click on control panel there is no icon for "Programs" under that spefic title and certainly nothing that will produce a "Use an older program with this version of Windows".  I'm using a brand new HP with windows 7.  I don't want to lose the editing features of my old Picture It 10 if I can help it.  The few features available in the new system are pathetic.  Any ideas?
