Desktop.ini file keeps showing up as a file to be written to a blank cd

Every time I try to burn a cd or dvd one of the files windows says are ready to be written to the disc is a file named desktop.ini..............how do i get this to stop, it even shows up when i am trying to write an audio cd.................

Hello Teddybare,

It is normal that the ‘desktop.ini’ file shows up in the folders or files to be written to the disk.

But it would actually not be written when you complete burning the files to the CD.

I suggest that you continue burning with the desktop.ini file included and check if the file would still appear after you complete burning.
