I asked a question yesterday re same issue but now problem has appeared in other ways. Originally Outlook.exe was affected, now pdu.exe, GPS-Updater.exe, and GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe all say The Procedure Entry Point anceCounter could not be located in
the dynamic link library API-MS-Win-Core-Synch-L1-1-0.dll. Will try Office discussion group as suggested by M. Page (thank you) but maybe this issue is more than Outlook related. Can anyone suggest a remedy please.
Thank you for replying. Sorry it took so long. Not sure how to copy info to post log but here I go..... The first 4 .dll have a note 'error opening file. The system cannot find the file specified (2) I couldnt get this to copy!

start Dependency Waker and open a program which fails to start. Press the F7 key to satrt profiling. Wait until the profiling is stopped with the error message. Now look at the button of the program and select all entries and copy them into a new text file
and save this file.
Please upload this file to your SkyDrive and post the link.

Finally I have uploaded a file! The problem of procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library occurred for 3 exe files. The Outlook.exe file was the one that affected me most but I was not able to complete the profile as Outlook
'not responding' meant I could not copy or save. I dont think the profiler was able to complete. I ran Dependency Walker on pdu.exe and googletoolbarNotifier.exe which both had the same problem and have uploaded these to Skydrive. Do I have to do anything
to allow you to see this file?
