Magnifier doesn't work

1.    Have you made any recent changes on the computer?

Method 1

This may occur if there are some corrupt system files on the computer. I would suggest that you run a SFC scan which would scan for corrupt system files on the computer and replace them.

The scan may take some time, so be patient. Windows will repair any corrupted or missing files that it finds. If information from the installation CD is needed to repair the problem, you may be prompted to insert your Windows Vista installation disk.

Method 2

If the above step fails then check if the issue persists in a new user account

To create a user account

1.    To open User Accounts, click the  Start button, click Control Panel, click  User Accounts and Family Safety, and then click User Accounts.

2.    Click Manage another account. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

3.    Click Create a new account.

4.    Type the name you want to give the user account, click an account type, and then click Create Account.
