Drive letter & File System type missing in disk management

In the disk management view, drive letter for (c) drive and file system type (NTFS) is blank.  Windows explorer sees the c drive.  Acronis True Image sees the c drive and ntfs file system type.  How can I correct the disk management view?

a. Since when are you facing this issue?

b. Do you remember making any changes on your computer?

Method 1:

Let’s try to rescan for drive information. Here are the steps:

a. Click on Start, type cmd in the search box.

b. At the Command Prompt window, type diskpart and press enter.

Type rescan and press enter.

c. When finished type "exit" to quit diskpart and "exit" again to quit command prompt window.

d. Recheck Disk management for missing partitions.

 

Method 2:

If the above step does not help you, try to assign the drive letter from Command Prompt. Here are the steps:

a. Open Command Prompt.

b. Type:

diskpart

c. At the DISKPART prompt, type:

list volume

Make note of the number of the simple volume whose drive letter you want to assign, change, or remove.

d. At the DISKPART prompt, type:

select volume n

Select the volume, where n is the volume's number, whose drive letter you want to assign, change, or remove.

e. At the DISKPART prompt, type one of the following:

1.assign letter=L

Where L is the drive letter you want to assign or change.
