windows live mail error 0x80041161

Hi, I am getting the following error message when i try to open Windows Live Mail:

windows live mail could not be started. it may not be installed correctly. make sure that your disk is not full or that you are not out of memory. (0x80041161)

This only started yesterday, after working since getting netbook. I think there have been some recent upgrades from windows and I am not sure if these could have affected it.

I am using Windows 7 Starter, and have norton 360 loaded.

I have tried shutting down and rebooting system, and loading as administrator. Neither have made a difference.

This is very frustrating.

James.

Perfect, Chestnutt!  This was beginning to drive me crazy.  I tried the reinstall and the  uninstall/reinstall and ended up with the same results (same error).  I stumbled upon this forum and found your message - it did the trick!  The only thing I would add is the repair utility is called "wlarp.exe."  Run this before trying anything else.  Thanks for the tip!

In the folder C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Installer there is a repair utility. I just used it to fix the exact same error you cited.

Good luck.
