hi,there, i accidentally uninstalled my teredo tunneling pseudo interface ,is there any bad effect to my system,?if there is, please response and enumerate the problems i may encounter.thanx

·        Did you uninstalled it or disable theteredo tunneling pseudo interface?

Incomputer networking,  Teredo is aplatform independent tunneling protocol designed to provideIPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) connectivity to nodes that are located inIPv4 networks. Compared toother similar protocols its distinguishing feature is that it is able to perform its function even from behindnetwork address translation (NAT) devices.

If you have uninstalled it then it may lead to problem in Network Connection and Network Security.

I would suggest you to reinstallTeredo tunneling pseudo interface

Follow the steps mentioned below:

 First, let’s temporarily disable antivirus softwareand Firewallon the computer as a test.

Note:

 Make sure you turn-on the antivirus software and Windows Firewall later.

Now, let’s verify the status of relevant services required.

 

a)     Click  Start, type  services.msc in  Start search box and hit Enter.

b)     Right-click the Peer Networking Grouping service and select  Properties.

c)      Check if the service is started; if not, right-click and select  Start.

d)     You may also set the Startup type to Automatic under Properties.

e)     Click OK.

 

Repeat the above steps for the service  PNRP Machine Name Publication Service,too.

Refer to the link provided below andreinstall the device by getting into device manager and select scan for hardware changes and see if it finds and install

If you have disabled it I would suggest you to enable it.

To enable it follow the steps provided below:

Right click the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface > Update Driver Software... > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
