Error code 618 - Frequently get a message that says "That port is not open"
I have recently installed a Verizon wireless card (external modem) on my Dell Computer. When I click on to "connect" I frequently get a message that says something to the effect: "That port is not open" and it shows: Error Code 618. After several more
tries, I eventually get a connection to the internet. Verizon thinks it's a Windows problem I have plugged the card into all of the three USB ports and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Verizon setup but
the message persists. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.
