Toshiba disc creator shows error, disc creator stopped working in Windows 7

when i try to burn a disc using my toshiba disc creator a box pops up saying disc creator has stopped working,a problem caused the program to stop working correctly

 

Windows 7 can burn DVDs ands CDs without any third party software.  What happens when you try that?

Also, be sure you have the latest software/drivers from Toshiba's website:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/outFrm.jsp?ofId=AskIris&searchString=disc+creator+windows+7
