Printing problems in Internet Explorere 8 - will not 'Shrink to Fit'
I am having recent printing problems - using Internet Explorer 8, I have the printer settings set to scale to fit the page, but it will not do that anymore - I have to manually open Print Preview and reduce the percentage to get text, etc to fit the page
(if I try to check 'Shrink to Fit' it does nothing - I must select a percentage). This just started happening in the last month or so. Also, in my Outlook Express 6.0, if I try to print emails, the first page is 'chopped off' on the right side, making the
first page useless. I have not been able to find a fix for either of these situations, which started occurring at the same time.

Hi carolcaslow,
Webpage Printing:
Some webpages specify exactly where text should print on the page. If the webpage you're printing specifies exactly where the text should print, Shrink To Fit will not work. You work around this problem by setting a custom scale factor in print preview. For more information about print preview, see

For additional information on Printing webpage you can refer to the following article:

Printing Outlook Mails:
I would suggest you to check the borders scaling setings while printing from the Outlook.
