I have downloaded the Windows 7 beta about three weeks ago, and was having problems with the touch sensitive keys above the actual keyboard i.e. MediaSmart. The mediasmart button just doesn't work at all. Also on an extra note, i am able to see my HP Webcam
in the device manager, but i am unable to locate the file, or turn it on. Now I've upgraded to the release candidate, and am still experiencing the same problems
Thank you for posting. Both of these problems are going to be driver related.
Especially the “MediaSmart” buttons on your keyboard.I would suggest contacting HP to see when they anticipate having Windows 7 compatible drivers available for your hardware. In the mean time, you can try using the Vista drivers.
In some cases customers have had success using XP drivers for older hardware devices.
