Microsoft ISATAP adapter error message code 31

Help I have an error in Microsoft ISATAP adapter code 31. I have no idea on how to fix this error.

Please help this error is in the device manager.

Hi,

We receive error code 31 if the device driver is not updated. If you have already updated the device try reinstalling the device driver and check if that works, if that does not resolve the issue you may ignore the error message. You may refer to the following article for more information regarding this issue:
 
On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message

You may try the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Uninstall and reinstall the device from device manger. Steps to uninstall the device:
 i.         Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press enter key.
 ii.        Locate Microsoft ISATAP Adapter device.
 iii.       Right click on the device and select uninstall.
 iv.       Restart the computer for the changes to happen.

The drivers should be re-installed automatically after the restart of the Computer.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to try deleting the upper/lower filters for network adapters, here is the location from where you can delete.

a. Click Start, and then click Run.
b. In the open box, type regedit.exe, and then click OK.
c. Go the following registry location:

HKLM\system\curectcontrolset\control\class\ {4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} 

Method 3:

Try updating the latest drivers for the adapter and check if it helps, here is the link:
