Incorrect characters when typing - intermittent problem

I have an intermittent problem whereby the characters I type on the keyboard are not what the PC sees, or what appears on the screen. I have tried different MS keyboards, but that did not solve the problem. If I press the same key in this 'mode', the characters appearing change with each keypress, going sequentially through the ascii codes.  (This has happened for some months with a new PC and Win 7 Pro.) Rebooting the PC solves the problem, until next time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing the information with the fix for the keyboard text issue. This will help the other users with similar issue as well.

 

a.    With respect to the Zone Alarm update installation issue, what exactly happens when you try to install the application?

b.    Do you get any error message?

 

 

 

Try to use the Zone Alarm Removal tool to uninstall the software completely by visiting the following link.

 

http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...cpes_clean.exe

 

Once you do this, retry to install the software again.

 

If that does not help, contact the Zone Labs support for further assistance on this issue.
