How do I install DPinst.exe ?

I installed New windows 7 64bit professional version.

When I try to install drivers that I downloaded from my laptop's brand website, It opens the driver.exe files with 7zip and when I try to extract, It keep says 'cannot extract file as archive'. I also tried to install DPisnt.exe and It says It cannot be installed on this Operating system.

Is there any solution to install my drivers?

Hi Caleb,

I understand that you are unable to extract files as archive using 7zip and unable to install DPinst.exe.

1.    What is the make and model of the computer?

2.    Are you trying to extract the drivers files one by one?

3.    Where are you trying to install DPinst.exe?

The files may have been compressed in a format Windows cannot deal with and hence you are facing this issue. It might also happen when that file is corrupted, incomplete, or may require a password.

I suggest you to refer to the following article and check if it helps.
