when plugging in my Iphone I get a "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

· Did you try running the hardware troubleshooter in Windows 7?
· Did you try a different USB port? Do other USB ports work OK with other devices?
I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the methods below.
Method I: To run hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method II:To remove and reinstall all USB controllers
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, in the start search typesysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
b. Click the Hardware tab.
c. Click the Device Manager button.
d. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
e. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node, and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
f. Restart the computer so that windows install the USB controller drivers.
g. Plug in your mouse, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.
Method III :iPhone, iPad, or iPod is not recognized by Windows due to driver installation issues

The problem is, one of these controls the mouse, so you will find yourself stuck!
My other problem is that PC tells me all drivers are up to date, but still getting the Error Code 43.
I've tried everything. Including installing faster high speed bus controllers.
It was working for me last week, but not this.
Desperate in London.

and I have tried so many things on the internet , some of them are so complicated , but I found at the end that is so easy ,
simply update your BIOS through your computer manufacturer.
