i copied a self extracting rar file from my old computer(running xp pro)to my laptop(running windows 7)and when i go to open and extract files i get message "not a valid win32 application"can any1 help please as it has to do with my buisness and it is
a needed file for my admin duties
RAR file is not native to Windows and you need a third-party application to open/extract such files. On Windows XP you must have installed a RAR file extractor such as WinRAR. Search for RAR extractor programs online and you'll find free/trial as well
as fully fledged ones for a few bucks. You may like to start from WinRAR publisher

Hope this helps.
