Saving a file gives an error that the program stopped working

When I try to save a file I get message "Microsoft Office  ------- (whatever program I am running) has stopped working."  Then the file and program close.  HELP!!!

There are two ways to troubleshoot microsoft office, that I know of,

One is to go to Uninstall a program and use Uninstall or change,

Which office has a fix program option,

The other you might try first,

Is open word,

Click on the office logo on the top left, depending on what version ?

Click on Word options,

You should have Resources lised,

Within this option you should have trouble shooter or diagnostic which you can use.

Mcafee/Norton/IOBit security should not be Installed on a functioning computer=FreeAdvice
