Hi rjd584,
If you are referring to the Microsoft program files, you cannot change the location of the drive. All Microsoft program files are stored in the “C” drive as default. If it is other applications or programs that you install then you can select the partition or drive of your interest.
However you can change the drives of the program files when you are in the installation phase by selecting the drive on which the Operating System is to be booted. Suppose you have selected “D” drive for the Operating system to be installed then the Microsoft Program files will be loaded in the same drive.
To be more specific, the program files will be loaded in the drive where your Operating System is loaded.
