Changing an account name doesn't change the corresponding user's folder name

I changed the name of my main user account but the corresponding folder under C:\Users\ didn't change.
Should I change it manually or can leave it as is?

You can leave that as it is because this is by design in Windows. You can not change the original user account name in the C://users.
