Windows 10 upgrade getting "The current active partition is compressed" error

Original Title: Windows 10 upgrade

Hello, I have been trying for several weeks now to upgrade to Win 10 before the July deadline. However, I have not been successful as I receive the following error messsage "The current active partition is compressed"

Is there anyone out there with the same problem who has successfully resolved this issue, please?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

My currrent laptop config: AMD Phenom 2 Triple-cure P820 processor, 3gb RAM, 320gb hard drive, Mobile Radeon HD4270 graphics card.
