Why should I update to Windows 10?

Why should I update to Windows 10?

Windows 7 works for me just fine,

The only reason I see is for Microsoft to make more money by introducing a new system and killing off the old ones, Instead of just improving and updating the existing one.

At least give the customers the option of what to do and Microsoft not dictate.  Microsoft should focus on customer service, and safety of the computer and its data.

A few points:

1 - W10 is completely free, and will remain free if you decide to update in the first year.

2 - You will not have to update to W10, you can stay with W7 if you choose.

3 - W7 will be supported with security updates ( but no enhancements ) until 14/1/2020, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/lifecycle/search/default.aspx?alpha=windows%207&wa=wsignin1.0
