Problem with Windows Updates KB3093266 & KB3097617, as they fails to install

Hi all

I now have 2 cumulative updates that are on a loop of not installing, KB3093266 & KB3097617 , this is beginning  to get very frustrating as i mostly have to login twice and the mouse cursor from the type cover keeps getting stuck up near the right hand corner of the screen , my outlook calendar and mail are out of sync and Edge freezes up, also the start menu gets rearranged and Onedrive cant recognize some of my recipe files!! Oh and ccleaner cant get past %24...........

I have in earnest tried everything that i could find on how to get the updates to install but all efforts are fruitless.

All new suggestions are welcome,

After trying everything in here I ended up running the install for windows 10 again, just download the media creation tool and update the pc instead of creating media. All of my apps/desktop, etc are still there and it didn't change any settings that I found yet but it did fix whatever was wrong and now I am all up to date on all the updates. It's just like the reinstall/repair that we used to have to do with prior versions of windows.

It did remove my tile for IE and I cannot get it back which is annoying but shortcuts work, so oh well. 

I hate that option but it's less nuclear than wiping everything and reinstalling from scratch which is not an option for me.
