Windows 10 automatically goes in sleep mode!!

Hello friends .. i am using windows 10 since last two weeks..since installation i am facing this issue .. my pc goes into sleep mode without any reason..suppose i am working on anything ..like i am watching you tube videos or anything..suddenly my screen changes to black and my pc then goes into sleep mode..then i press the power button ..and it again resume the windows... i dont know why it is happening ..i tried everything .like updated the drivers and other settings..but no results ..please help me if you can.. !!

I understand the issue that you are facing currently, and we in Community will try to resolve your issue the best way we can.

As per you query, I suggest that you refer to the methods provided below and check if it resolve your issue:

Method 1: Run power troubleshooter.

  1. On the search bar type “Troubleshooting”
  2. Click on “View All” left panel.
  3. Click Power, new window will popup.
  4. Follow the on screen instructions.

 

Method 2: Check if issue persist even in Safe mode. To go to Safe Mode follow the steps below:

  1. Open Run Command (Windows button +R)
  2. A dialog box will open type “msconfig”
  3. Locate and select the Boot tab and select Safe with Minimal as option.
  4. Restart Computer

Note: Follow the same procedure to undo Safe Mode, uncheck the Safe option and restart your system.

Method 3: If the issue does not occur in safe mode please check in clean boot.

Note: Once you are done with the troubleshooting, perform the steps in “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot “to reset computer as usual.

Hi thanks for the concern ...i tried all the methods suggested by you.. i tried Power troubleshooting in safe mode first ..but after all the process it showed the result as " screen saver is enabled - issue not fixed" and same message it showed in  clean boot  also. i dont know what to do now ..still it goes in sleep mode any time..no fix duration...i checked once again all the drivers for updates one by one..but no result ..as all are already updated to the latest version..please help me..!!

Same problem... checked all the settings and they are default (unchanged).  The PC is working perfectly otherwise.  This is a weird bug...

Check if computer is in hibernation mode go to Control Panel > Power Option > Edit Plan Settings click
Change advance power settings link expand sleep you may or may not see turn hibernation on/off in any case you should see
Hibernate after expand this click on whatever number you see and type
Never.
