Error "Update available /.php" & "The parameter is incorrect"

I have been getting this pop-up dialog box titled "Update available" and message "/.php". Nothing appears on task-bar. This happens every time I restart windows & it keeps appearing about every half a second (look at the dark shadows) until I press the okay button, and then it gives another dialog box "the parameter is incorrect". Pressing okay on this dialog box just continues the previous cycle.

I cannot ignore it because these dialog boxes appear above any other window. Can someone guide me how to fix this?

Specs: Windows 10 version: 1511

The OS came pre-installed with laptop ASUS x205TAW

So finally I've solved it. Here are some steps, in case someone need.

1. Using Spy++ I've pointer to the window and found related process. In my case it was FFPRODUCTUPDATER. [Spy++ is part of Visual Studio, but you can find alternatives, just google it]

2. Searched hard drive for the process. In my case it was some MP3 cutter/jointer, which I had downloaded few days ago. I uninstalled the program, restarted and the problem of course disappeared.

I suspect the program was either malware or adware/spyware.
