WLAN Service stops under WIndows 10
Since upgrading to Windows 10 I have been having intermittent problems with the WLAN service. Occasionally it just stops and drops my internet link through my wireless router. In addition, whenever the computer goes to sleep and restarts, the wireless link remains down. When I check the WLANS service it has stopped. I never use to have this problem wit WIndows 7 before I did the upgrade to Window 10. Is there a ug that needs fixing here?

Answer
This is probably a temp fix there is a repeating error that stops the WLAN autoconfig.
*Run service.msc
Go to Wlan Autoconfig
Go to properties
Go to recovery
set first, second and subsequent failures to "Restart the Service"
Reset fail count after set to 0
Restart service after set to 0
Apply
*It doesn't stop the wlan auto config from shutting but it helps you to still be online
Sometimes mine glitches where wlan autoconfig stops but I don't see it in my services.msc I have to stop the wlan autoconfig and start it again. It doesn't happen frequently.

Hello,
I'm having trouble fixing the issue with the WLANSVC as it constantly stops. I have to start it manually every 5 minutes.
I've updated the wireless driver adapter, I've changed the service to automatic, I've enabled the wi-fi service through the command prompt. I've done everything possible to have the wireless service ongoing but it drops all the time.
I have a all-in-one LG PC, LGV320 and the wireless adapter is the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 2230.
Upgraded from 8.1 to 10 and now I have this problem that is very irritating.
Can you please help me?

Eventually, I was able to fix the problem by reinstalling the drivers for the Wireless card and then doing a complete reinstallation of Windows 10. For the past week I have not experienced the problem again.
Regards
Richard

Anyone have a good solution for this????
The WlanSvc constantly stops.
1. it is set to auto.
2. It says it is running but when you open the service it is stopped
3. restarting the service fixes the wifi issue. but it comes back shortly
4. No issues till the Win 10 upgrade
5. Drivers are current
6. Drivers have been removed and reinstalled
7. Cisco VPN issue not applicable.
This REALLY IS AN ISSUE!!!
