Installing the Samsung ML-1210 printer driver on Windows 10

I suggest you to update driver from the device manager as below and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows+X and select Device manager.

2. Expand the printer option and right click on the driver.

3. Select update the drivers.

If still the issue persists then I suggest you to go to manufacturer’s website download the printer drivers and install it in compatibility mode.

I managed to get the printer working again. I had to install the windows 7 drivers using the compatibility mode. 

I downloaded the windows 7 exe file and then right click with your mouse there you see the compatibility mode option.

Universal driver for the printer did not work.

My Samsung ML-1210 printer worked with Windows 8.1 but after I installed Windows 10 the printer was not an installed printer and I haven't been able to get Windows 10 to recognize the printer so that I can print documents.

I got my ML-1210 working now. You save my day.

I am having the same problems trying to make my Samsung ML1210 work with Windows 10 but I cannot follow these instructions:

1. Press Windows+X and select Device manager.

2. Expand the printer option and right click on the driver.

3. Select update the drivers.

   Under Device manager, I do not see printer option (only print queues) and I cannot see how to right click on driver and update drivers. I have already wasted money by buying Driver Assist, which did not help me with updating my Samsung ML1210. Yours Constant
