Windows 10 - blue screen MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION and srttrail.txt

I have upgraded my windows 7 to windows 10 i think 2/3 weeks ago. First 3 days everthing worked fine. But then when i start my laptop it freeze before i get into windows. Mostly it just freeze and sometimes i get the blue screen with MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. I just force my laptop to go out and start up again. After mostly an hour i come into windows and it just works fine the whole day till i shut it down and start up the next day. I have been looking on the internet for so long with nothing what can help me fix this problem.

If tryed to do an automatic repair and it just says it can be done and show c\windows\sustem32\logfiles\srt\srtTrail.txt.

I dont have a recovery cd becouse its a upgrade from windows i also have no idea how to get a product key.

I can show the text in srtTrail.txt but its writen in dutch.

Hi,

Sorry it toke so long to give a reply but i have so much trouble sinds the windows 10 update that im sometimes unable to start my laptop.

I did the things u ask. And it is saying it cant do a startup repair, and again showing: c\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srtTrail.txt.

The time to set it back to windows 7 is already gone now, i also have very important stuff on mij laptop, i cant affort of losing them.

Also another question. Is it still posible for me to go back to win 7 without losing mij things.

This is really not a good thing from windows 10. I can almost say. Windows 10 broke my pc.

Regards, Chanel

I've got the same problem...and I agree...Windows 10 slowly killed my PC.

CAN'T SOMEONE IN MICROSOFT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS AND PUT OUT A FIX.

I also tried to repair my system but of course I don't have a product key - because it was in the bios of my windows 8 system!!!!  Now that I've upgraded to 10 when I try to do a repair low and behold I need a product key.

PRETTY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW MICROSOFT...
