Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.
We also thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

Try to sync it another device and check if the problem persist.

If does not sync, check if the sync option is enabled.

Also try to Uninstall and Reinstall iTunes app and check if the issue is resolved.

Hope this helps!

Get back to us if you have queries regarding Windows, we will be happy to help you.

Thank you,
Microsoft Community.

I went to update both my Iphone and Ipad the other day and neither one of the items would sync to Itunes. I did some research and i went ahead and uninstalled the Itunes program and reinstalled it completely. Still no success in syncing either of the items. I finally went ahead and installed the updates to both my phone and tablet using wifi. I don't like doing this as there is no backup created when using the wifi method. I also went in and took a look at the Universal bus driver and noticed that there was no Apple driver installed. I tried finding it and tried up to have windows install it but it was unable to find a driver for itunes. So not sure what to do after this. I have not had this issue prior to installing Windows 10. Please reseach and get this fixed as i need the itunes to work to keep my music and other apps working properly. I am sure you will work with Apple to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

Just purchased a new HP laptop with Windows 10 and Office 2013....After spending 6 hours (3 sessions) with iTunes support for the problem of not being able to sync my phone to iTunes 12, I finally reached a supervisor that quickly explained that iTunes 12 is not currently compatible with Windows 10.  He thought this might be resolved with the next update of iTunes 12......he could not say when this might happen...

I had 3 Apple devices that would not sync to iTunes after the Win 10 upgrade. I am happy to report I was able to fix it. After the following procedure all devices were recognized by iTunes. Hope this is helpful to others.

I am updating 9/12/15 this to show exact procedure I used in Win 10:
Plug your device in and do the usual “Trust This

Computer” on your device..
In search type: DEVICE MANAGER

    Click DEVICES MANAGER
Under OTHER DEVICES,OR PORTABLE DEVICES click

 “Apple IPhone/IPad/IPod”..
    Click REMOVE DEVICE
Take the USB out.. Then plug it back in..

WAIT PATIENTLY FOR ITUNES TO OPEN (it was a bit slow on my pc)

If it does not open make sure ITunes is set to open when device is plugged in

Now when I view the device manager after this, I see the

Apple device appears in USB controllers

Dear wannabe2, I try to do like what you did, but I can't found any option to remove my iphone from my device manager. After I right clicked on the device, the only options that pretty much closer to remove my iphone were to disable or uninstall it. I tried to uninstall it, but still I can't sync

Hi Labcat, I guess I got lucky :( Sorry. So now what happens when you plug the iphone in? Is it showing up in device manager or in "this pc"? When I plugged mine in again Win 10 automatically added the driver (the progress showed down on lower right). Did you see that at all?

I first found the driver Under OTHER DEVICES,OR PORTABLE DEVICES

 “Apple IPhone/IPad/IPod”-after I uninstalled/removed that one,

Win 10 automatically downloaded new driver and now

Apple devices appear in USB controllers.

This is SO ANNOYING!!!

I synced and backed up my iphone 5s right before I updated to Windows 10. I changed NOTHING and now it won't sync with my phone.

I've uninstalled itunes, reinstalled itunes, updated itunes. and NOTHING!!

You tricked me again, Microsoft
