When I try to change my password in Windows I get this message: This service isn't available right now-please try again later.  I have been getting the message for over a week.

Hi,

Convert Microsoft account into local user account, then local user account into Microsoft account. This might help.

Refer to these steps convert Microsoft account into local User account.

a. Press Windows and C keys together.

b. Click on Settings, then click on Change PC Settings.

c. Click on Account.

d. On your account page, under the User name and User ID, you will be able to see “Disconnect” option.

e. Click on Disconnect and follow the on-line instructions.

 

To change a Local Account to Microsoft Account, I would suggest you to try these steps.

a. Press Windows and C keys together.

b. Click on Settings, then click on Change PC Settings.

c. Click on Account.

d. Click on Connect to a Microsoft Account.

e. Follow online instructions.
