Step 1: I would suggest you to boot computer in Safe mode and check if issue persist.

Safe mode is useful for troubleshooting problems with programs and drivers that might not start correctly or that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers.

Step 2: If the computer works fine in safe mode, Perform a Clean boot

I have solved the problem with autorun..its easer than thumbing through tasks..it takes you to all non responsive app that cant be found ..then zap'em..easy..thanks for your consern
