Windows 8.1 Tablet Power on/ Wake up from sleep Issue

Many people have reported that windows 8.1 tablets like Toshiba encore 2 and Dell venue 8 pro, 

Somtimes do not wake up from sleep or do not turn on after leaving them for charge during the night.

The only solution that solved my problem was updating BIOS.

Toshiba Encore WT8-B32CNM :

Dell Venue 8 Pro:

If your tablet doesn't turn on try this method to turn it on:

1- Plug in your tablet to AC power for 5 min
2- Hold Power button for 15 Sec
3- release power button
4- Press and hold it again until it turn on

I've got a ASUS tablet and also trouble after the sleep mode.

- NOT every time but often enough to mention!

Whats happen on WakeUp (or not happen)

- I got my Logon Screen , but no onscreen KeyBoard !!

 Sometimes i can select (left corner) the Dekstop Onscreen Keyboard....

I ve to reboot TWICE before i can start normal!

Try different Sign-in option like PIN instead of using password.

tap on account picture on top of right side of start screen , then go to change account picture and then on left side of screen tap on the change Sign-in options and use PIN.

Nice gesture, but isn't this password option made to logon and just work as expected?

this tablet dvp8 battery emty and sleep. not charging ok.

? = how close tablet upgrade , sorry. not openning, not charging !!!!!

Hi try this method:

Your Welcome, Just update your Bios and make sure that you have last version of Bios and Drivers to prevent this issue again.

Hi can anybody help to solve problem.I've DELL VENUE 8 PRO tablet and experiencing problem with power-battery fully discharged  and not charging when plugged to main socket so i'm not able to run test. ANY HELP PLEASE
