Hi,

1. What is the make and model number of the computer?

2. Do you get any error message?

3. Are you using a desktop or a Laptop?

Method 1:

Download and install the latest graphics drivers from manufacturer’s website and check if the issue persists.

AMD Graphics Drivers and Software

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Note: Select the correct model number in order to download the right drivers.

Method 2:

If Windows 8.1 drivers are not available, you can download the windows 7 drivers and install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode.

Program compatibility is a mode in Windows that lets you run programs written for earlier versions of Windows. Most programs written for Windows 7 also work in Windows 8.1, but some older programs might run poorly or not run at all.

Install the drivers in compatibility mode

You can refer to the article given below for more information:

Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

What is program compatibility?

Hope this resolves the issue. If issue persists, you can write back to us and we will be glad to assist you further.

Just cool down mate :)

I am using HP Envy 1046tx Ultrabook. And, my GPU is AMD Mobility Radeon HD 7670M. I got upgraded to Windows 8.1 this morning and got the same problem.

For now, AMD is only providing the BETA Driver for Windows 8.1. I don't see any bugs in that BETA version and they have provided it a new interface.

Finally this fixed my problem. Please try out the steps I've mentioned below this may fix your problem.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit this official AMD website : http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/mobile?os=Windows+7+-+64

Step 2: Please do click on these hyperlinks : "Latest Beta Driver" or "Download".

Step 3: Before installing the above downloaded driver please uninstall the previously installed AMD Catalyst Manager and AMD Display Driver.

I'm rocking a Radeon HD 4350 and can't seem to locate a 8.1 driver that works, the Beta won't install for this series of cards. Note sure who to be pissed at, MS, AMD or me for having a old computer with a shabby card.

Hi

I think we should be pissed on both of them, coz it doesn't make any sense to change our Graphic card or our monitors with every new version of windows. Right ??!!!

I have similar problems and I do see a pretty big problem with that driver, basically ONLY ONE of my monitors will turn on...
