Bluetooth capabilities disappeared with new Windows 8.1 update

My computer is the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Just a few minutes ago I received an update notification for Windows, and after updating my bluetooth capabilities have disappeared. The option for bluetooth doesn't appear on the control panel or pc settings. Even when I click on the bluetooth devices stored in the Devices and Printers Folder, the computer is unable to detect the bluetooth device that is currently on and searching.

I have tried searching for a problem similar to this but haven't found any answers regarding the why such files as bluetooth would disappear on an update. I could go to the Lenovo website, but why should I constantly have to do this. Why are components lost on updates from Windows. Why does there seem to be no reliability to this OS? Why can't Windows just do something right?

This is frustrating.

Hi Shiny,

Which Microsoft updates are installed recently?

This issue might occur due to several reasons like drivers compatibility.

I would suggest you to re-enable Bluetooth in PC Settings and see if that helps.

If the issue still persists, then I would suggest you to uninstall and re-install the drivers for the Bluetooth device from the following website and see if that helps.
