Cubis Gold won't work on Windows 10

Unfortunately Cubis Gold is not compatible with Windows 10, it wasn't with Windows 8 either. This is really something that should have been worked out because I know a a number of people affected by this and there is not alternative Windows 10 download for the game or for Zuma for that matter.

Is there ever going to be a simple answer for this?

I got the answer from the makers of the game, and they confirmed that Cubis Gold is not compatible with Windows 10.

I was able to get Cubis Gold 2 to run on a Windows 10 computer by doing the below...

Right click on desktop shortcut for Cubis Gold 2

Select Properties

Click Compatibility tab

Check box for run this program in compatibility mode for...

Select Windows 7

Check box for Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Click Apply

Click OK

My elderly mother likes this game and was unhappy until I found a solution. Hopefully, this will work for others as well.

In addition to the compatibility steps provided, you can run the Program Compatibility troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Right click on the program, click on Troubleshoot Compatibility and then follow the onscreen instructions.
