Window 7 bluescreen error code 116 in Windows 7

Original title : Window 7 bluescreen error code...Please help

Hi,

 

Anyone have any idea what this error message represent? is this a video driver issue

Hi,

1.     Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

2.     When do you get Blue screen?

3.     Since how long are you facing this issue?

 

It is usually video card problem, you may follow the steps and check if this helps.

Method 1

You may update the latest video card drivers.

Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

Method 2

If the issue still exists, you may start your computer in Safe mode and see it works fine.

Step 1 : Safe mode

Start your computer in safe mode

Step 2 : Clean boot

If the issue doesn’t exist in Safe mode, you may perform clean boot to see if any service is causing this issue.

Method 3

You may select Last Known Good Configuration.
