iastora.sys BSOD

My computer had been running fine until a few days ago.  When I turned on my monitor the screen was frozen, the mouse still moved but couldn't click anything.  I did a hard reboot and the computer came back.  Last night it BSOD on me and gave a iastora error.  Again later it did it again.  Attached is last nights dump file.  Today's dump didn't save.

Hi,

The attached DMP file is of the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) bug check.

This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.

A driver tried to access an address that is pageable (or that is completely invalid) while the IRQL was too high. This bug check is usually caused by drivers that have used improper addresses.

Hi,

Check with Gigabyte Support for updates to the chipset drivers, BIOS, and other major drivers.

BiosVersion = F7
BiosReleaseDate = 03/19/2014
SystemManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
BaseBoardManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
BaseBoardProduct = X79-UP4

iastora.sys = Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver - See System/Motherboard Maker
and the chipset maker. This driver could have been driven to fault by other programs
such as Symantec/Norton or other 3rd party antivirus programs).

This driver is extremely difficult to install so you need the System/Motherboard Maker's                (for custom built systems) help though you might also ask in the their forums (if any).

Also check the Intel Downloads AFTER checking with the System/Motherboard Maker..
