I want to reserve my free copy of Windows 10, but I don’t see the icon on the taskbar

I went to www.windows.com/windows10upgrade to reserve a free copy of Windows 10.

According to the instructions, I need to “Click on the small Windows icon located at the right end of the taskbar.”  But I don’t see any such icon.  What do I need to do?

Thank you!  We’ve received a lot of great information from the input everyone has provided.  And we still want to hear from anyone who is having trouble reserving their copy of Windows 10!  However, due to the thread’s size, we are closing this thread and creating a new one to make it easier for you to find up-to-date information about reserving Windows 10.
