***Blue Screen*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFFFFFFF9238E, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF8000C0A7FC3, 0x0000000000000000)

I was playing a game when the screen froze and the BSOD occur,sometimes the screen crash out and the no signal sign appear and i have to reboot,i happen alot of times even if im not playing any game

HI,

The PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA bug check has a value of 0x00000050. This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced.

Bug check 0x50 can occur after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.

 

I would start by making sure your graphics and network drivers are up to date.

i woudl also click the windows button and then in the search box type Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors.

I would then check your system memory and hard disk for errors and finally use something like video memory test to test your videos memory. (found here under hardware testing tools).

If it fails any of the hardware tests its likely something may need replacing.
